Yes of course! You can qualify to become a surrogate if you have had no more than 3 C-sections.
No, the intended parents are always very excited and happy to have a baby on the way. But aside from that, we will have done a Surrogacy Agreement with the attorneys prior to any surrogate ever going in for an embryo transfer procedure. The Surrogacy Agreement ensures the parents are responsible for the baby and the surrogate is not liable, and it does list who the baby would go to should something happen to the parents.
We do have the basic requirements listed on our website, but feel free to message us and also complete our initial application below. We would love to chat with you!
Yes, you will have to be on series of medications, including some infectible medications, for several weeks prior to the embryo transfer and after the embryo transfer. The IVF clinic will instruct you what to take and when to take it.
Since it is not a natural pregnancy, the IVF medications are used to prepare your endometrial lining for the embryo transfer procedure. After you have gone in for the embryo transfer, the medications are continued because they are required to keep the pregnancy going. You will be on medications until around 10 weeks pregnant. At around 10 weeks, the IVF clinic will instruct you when to stop the medications and you will no longer need them because your body is capable of producing the hormones on its own and realizes you are pregnant.
If you're considering becoming a surrogate, complete our quick application and then a member of our team will reach out to you to set up a call to discuss the process, answer any questions you may have, and help you determine if surrogacy would be right for you.
