Hi there! I’m Katie, the Surrogacy Program Director and Co-Founder at what we believe to be the best surrogacy agency in the US. With over 10 years in the fertility industry, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with both egg donors and surrogates. My passion lies in helping families grow, and it’s an honor to support intended parents and surrogates through such a meaningful journey. After many years of collaboration, Trish and I were thrilled to take the leap and open our own surrogacy company, Modernly Ever After. We envisioned a more personal, compassionate, and experienced-driven approach to surrogacy—and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. I truly love what I do. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is meeting parents and surrogates in person and attending deliveries. Those moments are incredibly special and remind me why this work in the surrogacy field matters so much. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my husband, our three kids, and our bulldogs. We enjoy traveling as a family, exploring new places, spending time with our extended family, or enjoying a relaxing day at the beach whenever we get the chance.

Alongside my amazing business partner, Katie Faust, we are so proud to have co-founded The Surrogacy Agency, one of the best surrogacy agencies in the US. Together, we share a vision of creating a more personal, supportive, and ethical experience for our Intended Parents and Surrogates. With years of experience in the surrogacy world—working in a variety of roles across different agencies—I bring deep knowledge, compassion, and a hands-on approach to every family I work with. In my role, I’m honored to guide Intended Parents through every step of the process. I take the time to truly get to know each family on a personal level so that I can thoughtfully and intentionally match them with a surrogate who aligns with their values, hopes, and expectations. I’m not just here to guide you—I’m here to be a steady, caring presence during one of the most meaningful journeys of your life. If I’m not working with you directly, there’s a good chance I’m out on the water, soaking up the sunshine with my dogs (they’re always by my side!). Even then, I’m probably thinking about how to make the surrogacy journey even more joyful and fulfilling for the parents and surrogates I work with. Helping others build the families they dream of isn’t just my job—it’s my passion, and at The Surrogacy Agency, we truly believe in a modernly ever after for all families.
Our Surrogacy Requirements
The Surrogacy Agency, recognized as one of the best surrogacy agencies in the US, adheres to the guidelines established by the ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) and the IVF clinics we collaborate with. To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- You are between the ages of 21-39
- You have already given birth to at least one child
- You did not experience major complications during your previous pregnancies (such as preeclampsia or preterm delivery)
- You have no prior criminal history
- You have no more than 5 total vaginal deliveries or 3 C-sections
- You are willing to take IVF medication by injection/shots during pregnancy
- You are a non-smoker and non-drug user
- You maintain a healthy weight and height ratio (Body Mass Index between 19 and 32)
- You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- You have no serious health problems or diagnoses of major mental illness
- You cannot be on government aid
- You cannot be in Louisiana, as it is not a surrogate-friendly state.
